Program Objectives

At completion of this program, participants will be able to:

  1. Compare and contrast cultural norms that traditionally define a leader versus qualities of a “radical leader”.
  2. Evaluate key characteristics of a radical (heart-centered) leadership style and strategies to access it in themselves
  3. Utilize effective communication strategies which incorporate flexibility and warmth
  4. Identify opportunities to make a bigger difference as a leader by determining where they personally hold back
  5. Describe the basic patterns which human beings use to resist change
  6. Define the best strategies to meet resistance in others
  7. Apply simple tools to diffuse frustration and to take themselves lightly while taking their tasks seriously
  8. Employ new leadership capacities with a goal of achieving greater professional success
